Despite its rustic look sleepers make very attractive furniture when used the right way. This timber seat above is a classic way to reuse recycles 'A' grade railway sleepers to make beautiful outdoor furniture.

The seat pictured above is normally 1.2m wide but can be extended to 1.8m. Beyond 1.8 you would require 2 uprights. These timber seats start at $575 installed and are dug 600mm into the ground to firmly anchor them.

An outdoor timber seat can come in a variety of styles and be built from a range of materials. Our timber seats all have a few common attributes - they are solidly assembled, functional, unique and affordable.

Whether you would like a simple bench timber seat, one with sides or one with a back, they will all look good in a garden setting. If required most seats can be anchored into the ground for a slight additional fee.

This sided timber seat can be made from new sleepers or from recycled railway sleepers. 1.2m to 2.4 long.

The timber seat comes lightly sanded but can also be requested dressed and oiled with a smooth finish.

This conventional style seat is made from 200x75 red gum sleepers that have been dressed and oiled to give it a smooth surface finish.

The timber seat 1.8 Long but can be extended to 2.4m.

This timber seat can also be made from ironbark/greygum or dressed treated pine.

A clever chair design with its A Frame legs to complement any of our picnic tables.

The seat is generous 400mm wide and 300mm deep. The back rest is 290mm wide add to an overall height of 850mm.
